W. V. 'Chap' Chappell
President Chappell Entertainment Corporation / Chappell Films, LLC

Chap started his career in the music industry fresh out of Oklahoma State as Assistant Tour Manager for a then new, little known rock group Van Halen. After becoming established in the music industry, organizing, managing and overseeing multimillion dollars events, Chap began his own touring management company, Phoenix Productions. Thru the late 70's and early 80's Chap grew Phoenix Productions into one of the major tour management companies, managing, touring and promoting such groups as 38. Special, The Fixx, Billy Idol, Molly Hatchet, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Heart, Thompson Twins, Adam Ant and The Romantics.

Chap also gained recognition for promoting and producing large events such as Spring Break in Daytona Beach with MTV and Bike Week concerts featuring Charlie Daniels, Marshall Tucker, Night Ranger, Blue Oyster Cult, Rick Derringer, Humble Pie, The Birds and The Georgia Satellites. During the late 80's Chap was offered a sizeable contract to sell his beloved Phoenix Productions. Upon completion of the sale, Chap moved to the Virgin Islands to enjoy the sun of the Caribbean and expand his consulting career.

His restlessness was apparent. After his no compete clause of his sale contract expired, Chap made a decision to move to Orlando, Florida and the entertainment world by forming what would become Chappell Entertainment Corporation and later Chappell Films, LLC.

Chappell Entertainment Corporation now represents such talent as, Bubba Smith, James Hong, Frankko, (former manager for) Michael Winslow, Leslie Easterbrook, Marion Ramsey, Maxamillion, James Brown's Band, Crop Circle, Alex Ortiz. Chap also had several corporations that he worked with including Hearns Entertainment and Wellness 2000 Inc. Most recently Chappell Entertainment Corporation was retained by Hearns Entertainment (owned by former 7-time world champion Tommy "The Hitman" Hearns) to film and secure contracts for Hearns Pay Per-View and broadcast fights. Chap also have worked closely as casting director with such clients as Pat Marito (Karate Kid), Dennis Rodman and Angie Everheart.

Chappell Films, LLC has completed several major projects, including several projects that have aired on national television and are being sold worldwide. Current projects include: Michael Winslow Comedy Sound Slap Down, Latinos Locos, Bike Week eXposed, Alex Ortiz Live, "A Tribute to Richard Pryor," "Coming Attractions," "The Mystery of ...," "Jackie Martlin Comedy," which Chappell Entertainment acquired the Pay Pre-View Contracts.
